Yes, it looks like only another chain about young, white, privileged women, but you still ought to give it focus. Why?
Because Lena Dunham has an average-looking body and is not afraid to expose it, affirming to girls everywhere that it's okay to be typical and also NOT be ashamed of your body!

But what's amazing is the manner Lena reacts to these assaults on her body. She doesn't give a crap! She's not dieting, not covering up and not apologizing for the way she looks.
Her body has created not just criticism, but also some really great discussion around important questions - Why does nudity make people feel disgust? What is wrong with revealing a different physique on TV? Why is it a big deal? Why does it have to mean anything?

(We also obviously want more folks to attempt nudism, but we all understand it's easier to set a greater assortment of nude girls on TV than to get the audience themselves to try social nudity.)
